23 recently received a set of new shoes. Special thanks to Desser Tire (https://www.desser.com/) for the tires at a special price and Air Power Inc. for help with our main tire tubes (http://www.airpowerinc.com/). The LSW membership worked quickly to get the old tires off and the new tires on. Col. Page recently flew the aircraft and he reports that 23 seems very happy with her new shoes.
Speaking of maintenance, 23 will be undergoing it's annual inspection on March 2nd and 3rd. If you are interested in observing, eating some donuts, or even helping our maintainers with various tasks around the hangar, come on out. We'll be at the hangar most of the day on each of these days.
