On June 15, 2019, the Lone Star Wing visited the excellent Mid-America Flight Museum. The members were welcomed cordially with coffee and donuts and given an excellent tour of the facility. We can't say enough good about this amazing museum. Each airplane is flying or being restored to flying condition. Visitors are able to walk right up to the aircraft (under the watchful eye of the friendly staff) and some airplanes are open and visitors are allowed to board them and explore the interior. It's a truly generous experience as Scott Glover and his staff facilitate the sharing of these historic aircraft. The Lone Star Wing appreciates the time the staff spent talking to us about each aircraft and giving us a great overall experience. We can't wait to return.
